The name clearly speaks for itself.  This is a selection of our favorite and finest barrels from the vintage.  This warm and inviting bouquet offers layer upon layer of delicious fruit, floral, and spice nuances.  Expressions of ripe tree fruit, Asian pear, and baked apple mingle with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and piecrust.  Fresh notes of honeysuckle, spring flowers, and a slate and granite minerality offer yet another level of intrigue.  Incredibly well-balanced on the palate, this wine provides exceptional finesse on the entry that yields to a rich and staining mid-palate with a beautiful beam of acidity that keeps it lively and focused.
