Tasting Notes:
One of the most interesting clonal selections of Chardonnay has to be the 809 clone. The aromatics jump out of the glass featuring elements of crushed pineapple. Lemon meringue, and orange blossoms. The fruity aromatics are complimented by spicy hints of clove, cinnamon, and striking gun barrel minerality. The palate has a weighty presence and persists for an incredibly lengthy finish. |
