In 1885, Chinese laborers hand dug a 350 foot wine cave with picks and shovels. This winery was one of the first wineries in Napa Valley. In 1997, the Del Dotto’s restored the original winery and began aging their red wines in the caves. It became evident that “Cave Aged Wines” were more voluptuous and opulent than wines aged in modern facilities. Come and experience wines thieved right out of the barrels! Taste the difference between barrels made from the great forests of the world, up to 45 different flavors of highly rated wines. Voted #1 wine tasting by world wine critics!




	Cave Experience & Barrel Tasting $40 per person. Come and experience wines thieved right out of the barrels! The Caves are candle-lit Friday through Sunday. Cave Experience and Barrel Tasting includes barrel tasting in the cave out of several types of different oak barrels. Following the barrel tasting you will sample select bottled wines along with handmade chocolate truffles and cheese. Finishing off with a sampling of our ports. The experience lasts about an hour. Bar Tasting $20 per person. The Bar tasting includes a sampling of four wines and a port at our tasting bar. All tastings are By Reservation Only. On weekends and busy days we offer additional tours at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Please inquire for appointment times on the day you are interested in visiting. Click here to request a Reservation. A party of 8 people or more is considered a large party, which are conducted on special days and times. We are limited on space so please call or email us and we will send you additional information to book a large party. Children under 18 are not allowed on the Cave Experience & Barrel Tasting.
