Fall/Winter Newsletter on its way to you! Please look for our recent newsletter keeping you up to date with all the happenings here at Del Dotto.
Come visit our Newly Renovated Historic Caves at Atlas Peak! We have installed new lighting to accent the cave and added new photographic artwork featuring our vineyards and property. There is also a new, more cohesive storefront featuring your favorite retail items. Our original location is getting quite the facelift! In addition, we are repurposing the old Hedgeside Vintner storefront (aka Wine Gallery) into a lounge for our VIP members, complete with VIP-only barrels and couches for relaxing with friends. Come see for yourself how “new” our “old” caves now look!
New barrel types being used for 2010 vintage cabernet! Come try our St. Helena Mountain Cabernet featured in the new Fouquet American oak barrel! In addition, after very successful experiments of the 2009 vintage (and your rave reviews!), the Darnajou, Taransaud, and Icone barrels are making another appearance in the 2010 vintage.
Due to the challenges Mother Nature gave us in 2010, Dave and Gerard made the decision to drop a large quantity of fruit in order to maintain the high quality you have come to expect from Del Dotto wines. Due to this, we will not be releasing a Rutherford or Howell Mountain Cabernet this year. Instead, we will be featuring this fruit in our Rutherford David and Howell Mountain David blends. VIP Members – we will begin tasting these wines in early summer, so call us to set up your VIP tours and tastings now!
