The 2013 Reserve Pinot Noir is one of our most complex offerings yet, offering layers and layers of expression. Aromas of spring woods and forest floor, blend with notes of Bergamot and Earl Grey tea, with hints of clove and nutmeg. This full bodied Pinot Noir has amazing concentration. It has a silky entry but presents balanced tannins that make this wine built to age beautifully over the next 10+ years.
Another brilliant wine is the 2013 Pinot Noir Family Reserve Cinghiale Vineyard. More spice, earth, crisper acids and slightly more elevated tannin and oak are present in this deep ruby, relatively packed Pinot Noir. It exhibits dense red and blue fruits, attractive spice, a judicious use of oak, and supple tannins. Another winner, it’s almost impossible to say which is the better vintage, 2012 or 2013. eRobertParker.com #221 Oct 2015 93 Points Drink: 2015-2025
