2012 Pinot Noir Family Reserve Fort Ross-Seaview Sonoma Coast
Fort Ross-Seaview Sonoma Coast
Fresh black tea leaves, zesty orange peel…it's like Earl Grey tea but a whole lot better. Add layers of violets and mint with a background of allspice, sandalwood, and light clove and we are beginning to list some of the aromas that jump from the glass of this generous Pinot. The seriousness and depth of the nose translates directly to the mouth feel. With a silky entry but a structured and focused mid palate, this wine certainly shows it is enjoyable now, but will progressively get better for many years.
