The 2014 Cinghiale Family Reserve Pinot Noir may be one of our best offerings to date. This wine expresses classic Sonoma Coast qualities of wild strawberries, ripe cherry, and bergamot tea. There is a definite depth to the fruit expression here that blends beautifully with forest floor nuances and fresh earth. You can immediately tell from the depth of color that the wine will deliver on the palate with a weighty texture that is extremely satisfying but offers a tannic structure that is present, but integrated. You can enjoy this Pinot in its youth, but you will be rewarded with cellar time as well.
