2014 Vineyard 887 Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

The 2014 887 Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a distinctively excellent vintage from our winemaker's favorite vineyard.  Vineyard 887 in St. Helena is a beautifully balanced 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that brings a rare blend of complexity, richness, as well as elegance.  This wine is a combination of the best French oak barrel offering made.  The 2014 vintage nose is subtle and exudes graphite & charcoal.  There are pleasant hints of blueberry & pomegranate with a fresh earthy underbrush that develops into a touch of pink peppercorn.  This wine has incredible mouthfeel which begins with dark chocolate and finishes with pie crust.  The bright fruit transforms into black currants and bing cherries with a lush richness on the mid-palate.  This wine has firm tannins that cascade into a silky caramel coated finish.  This wine can be enjoyed early and often for the next 15-20 years!  Salute!
