This single vineyard Cabernet is what we call “the backbone of THE BEAST”, as it historically makes up about 50% of The Beast blend. This vintage is very smooth soft and easy drinking. We call the Darnajou French barrel “the ghost barrel” because it imparts very subtle nuances from the oak which are very well integrated. Ripe expressions of cocoa powder, acai, milk chocolate and chocolate covered charry and raspberry. The mouthfeel is rich and flow broadly across the palate with exceptionally juicy and integrated tannins.
