2021 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Tasting Notes:

This wine was grown on the volcanic soils of spring mountain at an elevation of 2,000 feet leaving the vineyard above the fog line that envelops the valley commonly during the summer months.  Being at that high elevation also moderates the temperatures throughout the growing season allowing for a long hang time. 

The wine opens with a burst of bright red fruit aromas, including dark cherry, raspberry, blackberry, currant, and boysenberry preserve. There is also a subtle hint of nutmeg.  The wine has a velvety entry that leads to a rich and layered palate. The fruit flavors are supported by notes of sweet oak, which add complexity and depth.
