The 2013 Estate Pinot has a wonderful aromatic profile of wild strawberry and fresh earth that is accented with sweet-spicy notes and even light floral aromas of violets and alyssum. The palate is smooth and seamless from entry to finish delivering great concentration and weight without sacrificing elegance.
The 2013 Pinot Noir Cinghiale Vineyard (again 14.8%) has a similar but slightly deeper ruby color and a beautiful nose of spring flowers intermixed with blueberry, raspberry and black cherry. Lush, ripe, medium to full-bodied and complex, this is another beauty from Dave Del Dotto, showing velvety, supple tannin and plenty of fruit and richness. eRobertParker.com #221 Oct 2015 92 Points Drink: 2015-2022
