Tasting Notes:

The 2019 Cinghiale Syrah is a classic Syrah combining attributes derived from the Sonoma Coast as well as traditional Rhone-like expressions.  The distinctive Syrah black and white pepper spice sits right up front.  However, the are loads of ripe fruit notes of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry as well as warm notes of fresh earth and cedar.  While the varietal is naturally big and bold, this wine maintains an impressive balance and sophistication that really shows the refined side of Syrah.
