Tasting Notes:

This happens to be the barrel used for the inaugural vintage of our Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon which scored a 98 point rating from Robert Parker.  The 2021 vintage specifically from our Oakville Estate may be the absolute best yet.  The vineyard is maturing and with a beautiful new block of fruit, these wines are nearly flawless!  The aromas are a bit darker and richer than the Family Reserve blend.  Notes of cocoa bean and sugar cookie are a wonderful compliment to the dense blueberry bouquet.  The palate is lush with boysenberry undertones and caramel, with a long velvet blanket finish.
