2016 Howell Mountain Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Etched 9L

Tasting Notes:

The 2016 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is pure and pristine.  This is quite possibly one of the greatest vintages for our Howell Mountain production to date.  The bouquet is clean and sophisticated.  Aromatics are classic Howell Mountain terroir, cassis liqueur, black currants, slate and a hint of dried orange peel.  Strutting the full bodied mouthfeel, complexities of graphite and forest floor integrate beautifully with bing cherry, black raspberry, baking chocolate and espresso.  The structure of this World Class Cabernet is like a skyscraper and the tannins are harmoniously interwoven into the cashmere textured lingering finish.  A gorgeous wine to be cherished for the next 20 years.
