25% Merlot

Howell Mountain has for years been a focal point of Cabernet collectors all over the world.  The 2016 Howell Mountain David is a Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  These precious berries grow on our highest elevation property about 1400 ft. above sea level.  The result is a wine of distinctive character.  The nose showcases dried sage, wild mushroom,  pine and sultry blue fruits.  Flavors of crushed rock, grape pumace, french vanilla bean and cordial cherries interweave with the firm tannins and lengthy supple finish.  Enjoy this classic blend now for the next 10-15 years.
