Tasting Notes:

The 2020 887 Family Reserve cabernet sauvignon may turn out to be one of our best productions of the vintage.  The fruit is rich yet elegant.  The American oak U-stave barrel produces a dense bouquet of toasted marshmallow, dark roast espresso, sweet cigar leaf and muddled bing cherry.  The mouthfeel is warm with rounded fruit, boysenberry character and a slight note of pink peppercorn.  The burst of flavor is up front and finishes clean and rich.
