2021 St. Helena Mountain Centre Sylvain French Oak Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Tasting Notes:

The bouquet is fragrant and full with undertones of cigar box, caramel squares, black raspberry with a pleasant hint of Lavendar.  Sylvain barrels from the Centre of France are classic, quintessential and sophisticated, creating the perfect complement to this sometimes earth driven terroir.  The St. Helena Mountain will show its massive fruit profile as it ages, so the tight grains of the Sylvain old growth French oaks allow this to develop at a perfect pace with elongated integration.  The mouthfeel is soft and very well rounded, fruit front to back and the finish is like a hang glider gently coasting down a hillside!
