Tasting Notes:

This is the counterpart to Alain Fouquet's regarded MGX style barrel.  The staves are exclusively sourced from the Allier and Troncais forests.  The nose is full of melted caramel, praline pecan, cinnamon bun and wild strawberry.  Flavors are pure and focused, offer a very broad and visceral mouthfeel with toasted almonds and blueberry puree'.  The finish is like medium roast coffee and is very clean and with cashmere like elegance.
