Tasting Notes:​​​​​​

One of two signature French Oak barrels from master cooper Alain Fouquet, this is an artisan combination of wood from the Allier and Troncais forests.  The color is opaque and shines like a black pearl oyster.  The aromatics are deep and powerful with caramel topping, allspice, chocolate powder and black fruits.  This Cabernet drinks roundly and robust, with a hint of blackberry hard candy, hazelnut cookie, dark roast coffee and a cocoa bar.  This wine sets up as a beautiful age worthy selection to reach its prime within 7-10 years!
