Tasting Notes:

This American Oak barrel is made by Alain Fouquet one of our favorite French coopers and uses the same technology as the U-Stave but has called is barrels Carved & Grooved. The oak is coming from Minnesota and Canadian border.  With a colder climate and tighter grained trees, this bouquet tends to give a toasted coconut shaving, extracted vanilla bean and almond joy.  A truly unique wine that is reminiscent of a pina colada in wine form!
