Hailing from the renowned Tofanelli Vineyard, this Zinfandel commands attention with a profoundly aromatic and complex bouquet. It opens with a dense wave of crushed boysenberry and dark fig, beautifully lifted by a fleeting, delicate hint of white nectarine. As the wine breathes, sophisticated layers emerge, offering savory cracked black pepper alongside a comforting note of toasted graham cracker. On the palate, it is luxuriously broad and velvety, coating the mouth with a saturated compote of mulberry and red blackberry. Woven through this dense fruit core are elegant threads of cardamom and sweet fennel. The finish is remarkably polished, tapering into a lingering, seamlessly dry close.
