2012 Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a selection of eight of the best French Oaks we have.  This wine has characteristics and notes from a lot of the French Oak barrels. Extremely balanced and complex with super ripe layered dark black fruits, plum and blackberry with a lot of grip. This is a major player in the world of wine.

2013 Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Family Reserve Oakville shows a similar saturated purple color to its siblings. Very earthy, with touches of black olive tapenade, blackberry and cassis, the wine shows slightly more tannin than the Rutherford or Howell Mountain, but is concentrated, full-bodied and truly first-growth quality. This is young and not as sexy and up front as the Rutherford or Howell Mountain, but is locked and loaded with potential. Forget this for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 25 or more years. This is a fabulous effort that will repay cellaring.

2014 Piazza Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

This is an exquisitely pleasing Cabernet that shows very rip and strong aromas of earth and cassis. The mouthfeel is smooth and seamless and opens up to forest floor and wet rock with a slight aroma of oak. The finish is silky smooth with a long lingering aftertaste. Incredible Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.

2015 Piazza Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Copious amounts of aromatics including sweet vanilla, nutmeg, candied cherry, anise, candle wax, and Bourbon barrel all come through. Incredibly smooth, juicy, and near perfect palete. Super smooth entry moves broadly across the mid-palate and has a pleasing viscosity and long lasting finish.

2016 Piazza Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2016 Piazza Oakville Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown in quite possibly the most famous region for Napa Valley's Premium wines. With an elegant yet powerful bouquet, this Cabernet offers a deep meaty aroma, enhanced by nuances of anis, brambleberry and toasted marshmallow. The flavors are vibrant, emulating cherry cola, coca nibs, zesty earth and black fruits. The kiss of oak integrates wonderfully into the lingering smooth finish.  Drink now for the next 10-15 years.

2017 Piazza Oakville Estate Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

2017 Oakville Estate Family Reserve has a beautiful expression of chocolate cherry, ripe berries, and red plum. The integrated oak nuances really play well in this wine. It ultimately identifies as a classic example of one the finest Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville appellation. This wine has many layers to it and evolves and reveals different qualities over time. Ultimately, it fully delivers on the palate with fine, textured tannins, and a rich, full palate.
