2016 Villa Del Lago Cabernet Sauvignon:
The 2016 Villa Del Lago is absolutely another stunning creation from our prestigious 20 acre vineyard atop Pritchard Hill. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in the finest hand selection of new French oak barrels. The bouquet is powerful as well as elegant. There are hints of rose petals, jasmine, bay leaf, baking chocolate and blackberries. The mouthfeel and flavors are extraordinary. This wine exudes voluptuous texture, rich, round extremely balanced acidity and tannin. Blueberry marmalade and cocoa interweave into layers of black currants and German chocolate cake. The finish is seemingly everlasting and flows like cashmere. Drink now for the next 10-15 years!
2017 Villa Del Lago Cabernet Sauvignon:
The 2017 Villa Del Lago has absolutely gorgeous fruit expressions jumping from the glass. Everything from red and black cherries, cassis and ripe currents, to plum and blueberry. Hints of sweet vanilla and light floral notes add another layer of dimension to this wine aromatically, all of which carries through to the palate. The mouthfeel has an impressive way of maintaining a luscious and soft impression, but there is a very sophisticated framework that makes this wine such a cellar friendly and food friendly wine.
2018 Villa Del Lago Cabernet Sauvignon:
From the spectacular vineyard atop Pritchard Hill, this Cabernet Sauvignon exudes elegance, beauty, and balance. While it certainly presents lovely blueberry, cassis, and blackberry expressions, there is a beautiful floral impact. Violets, rose petal, and spring flowers come and go. The expressive nose carries through to the palate. Deep and rich, there is concentration without being out of balance. It is a substantial wine while being very elegant. Should age well for 10-15 years.
