Online orders placed after 12pm PST will ship the following day. (Monday – Friday) Orders placed at one of our tasting rooms or during the weekend, will be reviewed the following week and staged to ship. Ground shipments may be held due to weather if we feel it is not safe to ship. Wine does not like extreme temperatures and may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. We want to be sure that your wine arrives to you safely. We do not recommend shipping to weather below 30 degrees or above 85 degrees. Please keep in mind, the weather in your area can be safe to receive delivery but ground shipments do travel through areas that may not be at safe temperatures. Del Dotto does not cover cold or heat damage.
If we decide to hold your shipment, you will receive an email with your scheduled future ship date. We will also send an email about the weather hold and your options to upgrade your shipment.

VIP MEMBER GROUND SHIPPING
$5 Ground shipping to the VIP members primary residence or business address. Wine purchases only and gifts are not included.
Orders placed after 12pm PST will ship the following day. (Monday – Thursday) Air shipments will ship same day when possible. An email notification will be sent to you confirming when your order has been scheduled to ship.
You are welcome to pick up at any of your three locations as long as you give at least 72 hours’ notice in order to transfer your wine to the desired pickup location. When your wine is ready, we will contact you by email to make arrangements to pick up your wine. All weekend requests must be submitted by noon PST on Thursday as our warehouse and offices are closed on the weekends and our wine is stored offsite.
Important: Your wine has not been scheduled for pick-up unless you receive a confirmation email.
Due to Covid-19 pickups may only be available at certain locations. We will let you know the locations available when we contact to make arrangements.
SUMMER TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED SHIPPING
During the summer we offer UPS Summer Solutions which is Next Day Air at a low rate. Wine is picked up in a temperature-controlled truck and is kept temperature controlled until it reaches the UPS hub in your area. The program for 2022 begins May 9th. Please note this is only for UPS Next Day Air shipments.
We may offer temperature-controlled shipments to Arizona by Vinum55 during the year. When this method is available, we will contact you by email to see if you are interested.
Pre-released wines for future release will be scheduled to ship at a future date based on our bottling schedule. An email will be sent to you with your scheduled ship date. Please mark your calendars. If you need to update your shipping address, please reply to the email.
A tracking number will be emailed once order has shipped to the main email address on your account.
IMPORTANT: Adult signature is legally required at the time of delivery. We strongly recommend shipping to a business address to avoid delivery issues. There will be additional fees for return shipments and/or address changes during transit. Please note shipment delivery dates are not guaranteed.
If you need to update your shipping address after you receive your tracking information, please contact us to request a reroute of your shipment to a new address. All reroute requests are subject to a reroute fee. Please note, no reroute requests is guaranteed.
We are unable to reroute an order over state lines. The original order will need to be recalled back to us and a new order will need to be shipped. You will be subject to a recall fee, plus the shipping cost of shipping the additional order.
The carrier will make three delivery attempts before returning your package to us. If a shipment is returned, we will contact you to reschedule a new shipping date. A return fee, plus the new shipping charges will be applied. Return shipments cannot be cancelled.
WINE CLUB SHIPMENTS
Wine club shipments will ship ground and you will receive an email with your scheduled ship date. If you would like to upgrade to an air method, please email email@example.com. Address updates or shipping method changes need to be received two weeks prior to the ship date. Additional fees may apply.
Each state has different wine shipping rules and regulations which we need to follow. We may contact you when order is placed if there are delays due to compliance.
Due to compliance laws, we are not able to ship to Mississippi or Utah.

WHAT TO DO WHEN SHIPMENT IS RECEIVED
As our wine may have traveled far to get to you or just been bottled, we recommend allowing the wine to settle for 30 days before consuming. Please keep in mind most of our wines are purchased on futures, so we usually release the wines as soon as they bottle. Most of these wines will benefit from cellar aging before they are enjoyed. This allows the wine to settle and the bouquet to develop after bottling.
Once you have opened your package, please locate your packing slip. Check off your items to confirm you have received everything. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact Customer Service at 707-963-2134 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have damaged items, it is important you save the shipper and keep everything in the box. Take photos and email them to Customer Service with details on what is damaged.
