Opened in 2017, Piazza Del Dotto begins with an Italian-inspired setting surrounded by 8.5 acres of Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, lush gardens, 17th-century fountains, and a charming outdoor courtyard.

Designed as a destination where wine, cuisine, and setting intertwine, the Piazza offers both our renowned cave barrel tasting and our signature Delicacies Wine and Food Pairing.

Guests begin in our marble-lined cave, tasting wines directly from the barrel the same signature experience offered at our Estate. When weather permits, the experience extends into the Italian garden where the beauty of the surroundings becomes part of the tasting itself.

Our Piazza Cave Experience offers the celebrated barrel tasting that has defined Del Dotto for decades — set within our bright, marble-lined cave and surrounded by our beautiful estate grounds.

Guests are welcomed with a pour of white or sparkling wine before entering the cave for a communal standing tasting, sampling red wines directly from the barrel. A side-by-side comparison of the same Cabernet aged in French and American oak highlights the artistry of barrel selection.

The experience concludes seated with a featured bottled wine, a full house-made pizza, and our fan-favorite tater tots.

The Delicacies Wine and Food Pairing is the signature experience of Piazza Del Dotto an immersive tasting that embodies Dave Del Dotto’s philosophy that wine should be experienced as liquid art and enjoyed at the table.

Guests begin with a communal standing barrel tasting in our marble-lined cave, sampling a curated selection of highly rated wines. The experience then transitions to a seated culinary journey featuring a welcome bite followed by four luxurious seasonal small plates, each thoughtfully paired with five pours of our handcrafted bottled wines.

Every course is designed to highlight how wine evolves when paired with food elevating texture, aroma, and flavor in ways that can only be experienced firsthand.
